Every year 30 people in the UK die from carbon monoxide poisoning as a result of gas appliances and flues which have not been properly installed or maintained.

Our commitment to you

• Transform undertakes a gas safety assessment every year, which include a carbon monoxide check.
• Transform installs a carbon monoxide alarm in any room used as living accommodation where gas, oil, coal or wood is burned for heating or cooking.

What you can do to keep yourself safe

• Test your alarm weekly. If you don’t see an alarm, or you think your alarm is not working properly, please contact the Transform Repairs Team on 0800 389 5224 or email them.
• If you suspect carbon monoxide is escaping in your home, please call Cadent Gas Network immediately 0800 111 999.
• If you believe you have been exposed to carbon monoxide, please seek urgent medical advice. You are particularly at risk when you are asleep because you cannot recognise these early symptoms.
